I was born and raised in San Diego, CA when in 2015 I moved to Nashville.  I grew up in a family of realtors and brokers with my grandfather starting Irwin Realty in 1972 and my father running the business starting in 1989.  Growing up in the property management business I learned the intricacies of this niche of real estate.  Graduated from San Diego State University and began working at a retirement pension firm while I played music professionally.  During this time I learned equity trading and the value of stock/pension retirement and in 2015 moved to Nashville to open my own real estate investment firm.

Southern Sky Realty, LLC was opened in 2018 after years in the works.  I know the ins and outs of buying and selling property, the stress it creates and the importance of having someone in your corner helping to navigate a successful close. Managing over 80 properties for clients including being a part owner in 16 of my own rentals I’ve gone through all the hesitations and concerns a buyer/seller feels and how a move can affect a family.

In my spare time I love to spend time with my family chasing around my two little ones here in Nashville.  TN has been one of the most wonderful blessings in my life and I’m grateful for this city.

I was born and raised in San Diego, Ca and now reside in Franklin, TN with my wife, Kyra and our 2 daughters, Kaylee and Shay. I attended college at Point Loma Nazarene University from 2003 to 2007 where I earned a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in Organizational Management. While attending PLNU, I played golf on the collegiate level as well as the top amateur level. I am passionate about people and have a strong history of sales experience, which led me to my career in Residential Real Estate. Prior to beginning my Real Estate Career in 2009, I managed a retail surf shop in San Diego, CA and sold personal lines insurance for Geico. Growing up surrounded by it, I became very passionate about real estate, and thus decided I wanted to make a career of it after college. My wife Kyra and I have bought and sold 10 of our own primary properties, and currently own several investment properties as well…Throughout the course of my own property transactions, I have continued to learn a lot about what kind of service my clients expect from me, the emotions they feel, and the anxiety and pressure of making such a big life decision. I believe my experience has made me a better agent who can truly relate to my clients on all levels, and help them to create a seamless and enjoyable transition for their families.

In my first year as a realtor, I was named Coldwell Banker, Rookie of the year. I pride myself on my hard work ethic and communication skills. When you work with me, you get my cell phone, my email and my expertise!!! I am available to my clients all hours of the day, and I pride myself on being responsive and available to my clients.

In my free time I love to spend time with my wife and daughters at the pool and playing games. We enjoy traveling as a family to beach and mountain destinations, and I still try to play golf as much as time will permit.
